Curly Q

Look at my hair!! It's always had a moderate amount of wave to it, but ever since I had Tabby (and even towards the end of pregnancy), my hair has been super curly. I got it cut yesterday and if anything, that just encouraged the curl even more. So weird. Is this a hormone thing? Has it happened to anyone else?? I can't say I mind it too much … it used to be just a bit wavy that didn't look very good, so I had to blow dry it straight. Now that it does this curl thing when I don't blow dry it, it's saving me time in the mornings. Good timing at least.

  1. YES! It happened to me too! Not with Brianna, but with Alec. Towards the end of my pregnancy, my hair got all wavy and I had NEVER had wavy hair before. It also started falling out in clumps. It doesn't fall out as much but now almost four years later, I never lost the wavy thing. Weird, huh?

  2. My hair never looked better when I got pregant. Nothing but compliments, people thought I paid a lot for a dye job. Nope. Hormones. Now it's a different story. I look like crap.

  3. My mom has been a hair stylist forever and she says that pregnancy does all kinds of crazy stuff to your hair. Have you ever known a guy whose hair turned curly when he went through puberty? It's kind of like that…the hormones kick in the hair kinks up. I LOVE the curl! I'm jealous.
