Yesterday, I discovered something to make Miss Tabby smile pretty consistently … a little game I like to call Tabby's Nose. I point to my nose and say “Mommy's Nose” and then I point to her nose and say “Tabby's Nose.” I do this with mutliple body parts, but she grins the most when I do her nose. That left-most photo is of her just after I've played this game with her (more photos here). I've got no idea why this amuses her so much, but it does and I could play it for hours with her … I love to see her smile.Busy busy as usual. We spent the weekend with Matt's family. His mom and sister were in town from Nashville for a long weekend trip. We had a very nice visit, but, sadly, were pretty bad about getting photos this go-around. We got just a couple. Hate it when that happens. But we had a nice day-trip to Estes Park and the dog park and a couple of great meals. And it was all over with too soon.
Monday, as usual, flew by in a blur and I've spent the past hour getting little one all packed up for her first day at daycare … tomorrow. I'm OK about it right now, but we'll see how I feel at the end of tomorrow. Tomorrow is also my 6 wk postpartum appointment with my OB. Cannot believe it's been that long.
What are you feeding that girl? Miracle Gro? She's gettting big so fast!

Yeah, I remember feeling that way at *both* of my six-week postpartum checkups. How can six weeks have gone by SO fast???
