Harry Potter and the Middle of Nowhere

I just hopped over to Fandango to pre-buy my tix for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Man was I surprosed to see that none of the theatres in our area have online ticketing!!! I'd never tried to get tix through Fandango for this area before. That's what's wrong with living in the middle of nowhere.

On the plus side, they are showing it on the IMAX, so that's a coup. 141 minutes of Harry Potter. All of the reviews I've read so far say that it's really different from the first two and better. Darker, but edgier and more realistic. I can't wait! I even made myself a t'shirt for the event. Matt was going through his clothes today and found a couple of undershirts (i.e. plain white t'shirts) that were too small on him. They fit me fine though, so I took my sharpie and wrote “What Would Dumbledore Do?” on the front of one of them. It came out pretty cute, actually. A bit ghetto, but I sort of forgot to order or CafePress something in time for the occasion.

I'll make Matt wear one too. I haven't decided if his will match mine or if I'll write something else on it. Maybe “Have you hugged your potions master today?” or “You're such a muggle!” or “S.P.E.W” or any of a number of other dorky Harry Potter related things. My poor poor poor husband.

  1. LOL! Too funny!! I too can't wait to see Harry Potter 3. I love the movies. It will be interesting to see what the directorial difference will be. Don't feel bad about “living in the middle of nowhere”. I want to see saved but they are only showing it in three theaters! Three in NYC for Pete's sake! Hmph!
