That's a line from a movie or TV show although ATM I can't remember which one. Anyhoo, that's how I felt yesterday. Nothing seemed to go right. The evening was the worst though.
I'd spent way too much time in the afternoon making a reservation for us to go out with some of Matt's clients. It took a while because the restaurant line was busy. So I had to keep calling. So finally, we're just about ready to leave for the restaurant and they call and cancel! That was annoying. I hate getting all ready for something and anticipating it and then the rug gets pulled out from underneath you. So we made the best of everything and just went out to dinner on our own. All was good. Since we were going out during two of my favorite shows, I'd taped them both on different VCRs. But when we got home, the TV I was taping Gilmore Girls on was doing the fuzzy buzz. Argh! When had this happened?! Hopefully sometime during One Tree Hill and not during Gilmore Girls. But luck was not with me. The VCR had been turned off somehow about 20 minutes into Gilmore Girls. I don't know who or what is to blame. I suspect it may be the work of May's tail as she was the only independenty moving being in the place at the time of the shut-off and none of our other electronics indicated that they were invoved in a power surge. Grrrrr.
Luckily little sister was available for a debrief and I will be finding it elsewhere. So annoying!! Today has been better.
