Three years ago today, Matt and I were married. It was one of the happiest days of my life and the past three years have been amazing. I love being with him … just something as simple as cleaning the house or cooking or something grand like traveling. It's such a happy life that we share.
For our anniversary, today all we will do is talk on the phone. Sadly, Matt had to be away for business this week. But he'll be back on Friday and we'll spend it doing something we rarely get to do anymore: spending an evening at home, playing video games, watching DVDs, reading … whatever we like. I'm looking forward to it.As far as anniversary gifts go, I don't know that we'll do that. We surprise each other with little gifts anyhow and we don't need a special occasion. But if I see something that seems especially perfect, there may be some gift giving.
