Where is this HERE they're referring to, exactly? It isn't: Game Crazy, Wal Mart, EB Games, Best Buy, Target, Comp USA.So I left work right on time and made a beeline for Target to buy my copy of The Sims 2: Pets. I called ahead. I was assured it'd be there. I got there … no Sims. Display says not 'til Thursday. Surely there's some mistake, I think. I drive out of my way to check another store (Game Crazy, I believe) only to find that it is not there either, until at least tomorrow. So I text messaged google and got more phone numbers and called around. It's nowhere until at least today. Did I mention it's snowing outside and the only place I wanna be is at home with my game? But no. I'm in my car, text messaging GOOGLE.
I went home, growly and defeated. I got on the EA website. It's only SHIPPING on the 17th. How silly of me. They kept billing the release date as 10/17… a Tuesday like most release days… but apparently they were only releaseing it to UPS (or maybe they use Fed Ex – I'm not privy to their shipping choices).
BUT …. I see a light at the ened of the tunnel! You can buy a download copy on the EA site. Those clever EA bastards, I think, they were just cutting out the middle man and sucking in desparate losers like me into buying their game directly from them a day early though I'd rather have the CD because I expected to be able to get it and wanted to play NOW so I would download it. And I did. But I was wrong. I can't install it until 10 AM. You'd think they'd at least give you access at midnight. But no. Jerks.
Digital Loki will have to wait.
Oy those confused store employees.
Liars! LOL!
Dang them!
They kept playing the commercial over and over during Veronica Mars last night. I really want that. I loved the pet version in the original. Maybe I get get somebody to get it for me for Christmas.
