New Shoes

I really don't consider myself to be much of a girly girl. The occasions on which I wear makeup are few and far between. You're more likey to find me on the side of a mountain than in a mall. My obsession with bags aside (which I don't think really counts, since my current favorite bag is my lime green Ogio backpack, complete with mp3 player pocket with headphone-out port and I think Loui bags are kinda ugly), I just don't seem to fit that mold. But I do have a shoe fetish. Oh yes. It is, however, with sneakers. At present count, I have 10 pairs in my closet. And those pictured are my latest acquisition … $20 at TJ Maxx. How can you pass up a good deal like that? They will join another pair of Roos (lime green), 3 pairs of Sauconys, 3 pairs of NewBalances (new-Bs), a pair of Reebok court shoes, a pair of black coverse low-tops, and if you wanna get picky, my hiking boots. Loki has officially crossed into the realm of bigboyhood. He is now allowed to stay at home alone outside of the confines of his box. He did this for 3 hours last night while we went to dinner and ran errands. I'm so proud.

I tried out Second Life last night and I was a wee bit disappointed. The interface was clunky and graphics were kinda … lame. But perhaps I did not give it a fair trial…
