Morning Mumblings

I am (brrr) so chilly. Matt loves to have the A/C on at night, so it's always freezing in the morning. I had kind of restless sleep last night. It was hard getting to sleep and then for some reason, during the last couple of hours of sleep, I kept waking up like every 20 minutes or so. Very annoying. I was also quite disappointed to find that our milk had gone bad this morning. Right after I'd poured it on my cereal and put a spoonful in my mouth. Goooood morning sour milk!!! I watched Showbiz Mom's and Dads last night. I watch it almost every week. Matt doesn't see how I can stand it but as I told him, it's real, and yet it's unreal.

The only family I can stand on there are the Mosely-Stephens. Everyone else on there is nuts. That Klingensmith kid is absolutely talentless and his mom is obnoxious. Did anyone see that fake commerical he was making?? Could he have been worse? He is not the next Justin Timberlake.

That 14-year-old girl is obnoxious too. If my kid ever talked to me like she does to her mother, I'd put the fear of sumthin in her (of course, as Dr. Phil says, we teach people how to treat us!). She is rude as hell. Of course I might be the same way if my mom shoved me into acting the way hers has. The highlight of last night's episode was when the mom was crying (LITERALLY CRYING) after Heidi Fleiss told Jordan she was a smartass. Hahhahaha. That was sugar-coating it. Mrs. Barron, Hi. I've got someone for you to meet. His name is reality. I don't believe you've been introduced before.

The Tyes are scary as well. The whole John-Benet thing aside (as that really had nothing to do with child pagaents), I find the whole thing really creepy. As Matt said, “There's something wrong about having three old men decide which is the prettiest 4-year-old.”

And don't even get me started on the Nutters. MY GOD. Could that wife have less of a backbone? What the heck is she doing? “Oh yes, honey, by all means let's move our seven kids into a two-bedroom-apartment in Queens so you can pursue your mid-life crisis of having a family of stars. It will happen, especially if we ignore all laws of probability!”

The worst (best) part of the show though is how dillusional all of these people are. Ironically it's the one with the most talent (Jordan Mosely) who is the most grounded. I have seen zip on the talent scale from pretty much everyone else. And yet they're all convinced they're going to be stars. Ha ha ha. Their parents are going to be responsible for some very large therapy bills some day.

  1. The klingensmith kid and his mom must die! They are horrible… the worst is the Nutters… that father is a total fruit loop. I missed the episode last night.
