After a chilly weekend, it is a chilly Monday. I am wearing a sweater at the office and I'm particularly glad for that. We had a nice weekend, though … pretty typical. Saw my family, ran errands, went to the gym, did housework and hung out at home. It was quieter than many. Very nice.
Of course, we bought food for the week … lemon chicken fingers and butternut squash, fried rice, spaghetti (with squash and mushrooms), clam chowder. The kids have colds and slept quite a bit. I played Farm Frenzy 3 (a great use of my time, I know) and got caught up on The Office and Top Ceviche and Project Runway.
My “smart” phone is dying. It will randomly decide to download ALL (as in all 2000+) of my Yahoo! messages and completely bog down my phone. The fix for this involves an hour long deleting process and adding the account again. Lovely. At least the smart phones are getting cheaper … I can probably get the one I want (when I figure out which one that is) for under $200.
I just signed Matt and I up for a 4 mile Turkey Trot. Hope he still wants to be married to me when he finds out.
We have officially moved Ben out of the infant carrier. It is better for lifting, but its own irritating situation since it's much harder to move him while sleeping and also to maneuver him around in a restaurant or store since he is only kinda sitting up just yet. But he can hold his bottle … well. That kid has his priorities straight.
Did you get snow?
Hope the little ones feel better very soon!
