Digging
I've really been enjoying all that the blog, How Does She? has to offer. They have fun crafts and home-keeping advice all the time. And none of it is too complicated or expensive.
I bought 4 of these cute no-slip (no joke!) headbands for running from JWG Creations. They are a great value … like half of what you can buy SweatyBands for at a running expo. And they have way better ribbon choices.
We replaced our body wash with this super yummy-smelling all natural stuff by Jason. Everyone in the house loves it and it was a big bottle for not too much $$.
Watching
I am sad to see my summer favorites, Make it or Break It, Burn Notice, and Royal Pains go into hiatus, but that means that fall TV is back!
Biggest Loser is shaping up to be a good season an I'm also enjoying Top Chef: Just Desserts as well as my standy-by faves, Chuck, The Office, Modern Family and Bones.
I have also introduced the kids to Wallace and Grommit via the miracle that is Netflix Streaming. We have been watching their three tales a lot lately. Tabby is a HUGE fan. Reading
I have been reading like a mad-woman. Lots and lots of good books. I'm steadily reading through two authors, Susan Elizabeth Phillips and J.D. Robb's (Janet Evanovich) Death series. They are as different as can be, with SEP's books being fun light chick lit with happy endings and the “Death” books being futuristic crime thrillers. Greatly enjoying both.
Aside from those I have read two very good books, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, which is the story three women living in Jackson, MS during the early 1960s who become intertwined and involved in the Civil Rights Movement. Really great story, interesting and thought-provoking.
I also had the pleasure of reading Mockingjay, the last book in the Hunger Games Trilogy. This awesome Trilogy set in a dystopic future, is one of my favorite series of all time. The kickass female protagonist is reason enough to read these great books. I highly recommend all of them.
I opine that to get the credit loans from banks you must have a great reason. Nevertheless, one time I've received a commercial loan, just because I was willing to buy a bike.
