So everyone seems to be making those bucket lists (y'know – the list of things you want to do before you kick the bucket). A bit morbid, perhaps, but generally a nice idea. Kind of like 101 in 1001. Anyhow then I saw another idea for a bucket list. One for summer. I truly love all seasons in CO, but summer hedges out ALL the others by just a smidge. It's short. It's fleeting. But it's glorious!! Some things I want to do this summer:
• Get in a few NEW hikes. Beaver Brook Trail 6/25
• Take the kids to Berry Patch Farms.
• Take Tabby to Film on the Rocks (I'm thinking Princess Bride!). Done!
• Make homemade ice cream.
• Cook pizza on the grill.
• Take a bike trip to the library (with picnic).
• Run a race I haven't run before (already kind of did this at the Bolder Boulder, but I'll probably do another).
• Actually make it to the neighborhood pool (harder than it sounds). Done!
• Take the kids to The Splash or another water park.
• Go camping with my dad.
• Take a day off, without the kids, somewhat for organizing, mostly for RELAXING.
• Visit the Paris Street Markets again.
That's a great list!! Makes me think I need to make a summer list too. I love lists by the way.
Great blog, thanks for telling me about it.
Sounds like a fun summer!
To answer your question, no I haven't seen a skirt like that. But check out SkirtSports they tend to have patterned skirts like that!
I have a friend who makes an amazing pizza on the grill. She said it took her months of trying before she got it right, but the main trick is to cook the dough by itself for a bit, then take it off the grill, flip it, put your toppings on the already cooked side, then put it back on the grill till the dough is cooked & the toppings melt.
Love the idea of a summer bucket list. And your second-to-last one? Fab.

A great list! I have only 1 thing I really want to do this summer, make it to a pool somewhere, anywhere and just wade (I don't know how to swim, but love floating there). I don't think that's too much to ask. I hope. If it's wrapped up in a small vacation of some sort, even better.
Hope you get to do it all!
