Cuz He's So Cute

I just felt like putting up a photo of my Loki t'day. Just cuz he's so cute. I really don't have anything interesting to write about him. He's been busy being a dog/Tabby's favorite plaything. That dog really has the patience of a saint.

Things were pretty boring the last couple of days at our house. Matt was to be seen force-hydrating Tabby because he is all worried about her soft spot being too indented. How many other 6 mo olds out there have had Gatorade?? Yea, we're super parents. She didn't even like it that much. Prefers water … but not from her bottle. From a cup. Weird baby.

We also made enchiladas last night. That probably sounds like a perfectly awful food for someone who's just coming off tummy lurgy, but whatever. I was raise on this sorta stuff. The recipe wasn't too good though. It had almonds in the filling. I really should've stuck with my instincts and nixed those. I have this thing about texture … I like most textures, but I hate hard in the middle of not hard. Like nuts in my chocolate chip cookies. It's a bit hard to explain, but it's my “thing.” So that was kinda unfortunate. Loki liked them though. I have 22 days straight on my Seinfeldian chain knocked off. That's 22 days in a row of working out. I am counting the day of puking even though I didn't do anything … but I figure eating practically 0 counts somehow and it wasn't my fault. Every other day I really did workout.

I'm trying something new today. Since Tabby was born, I've been taking Mondays off and working a max of about 36 hours/wk. Today I'm going to work late (about 3 hours extra) and see if I can't get a bit closer to 40 hours. We've been feeling that 15-20% reduction in my pay, so I figure why not at least give it a go. Matt and Tabby will have some time together just the two of them and Matt can have dinner ready when I get home so we can eat and go about our normal night time routine. We'll see how it goes.

Hmm… I'm not very interesting t'day.
