Weekend Wrap-Up

I know what you're thinking. “I'm so sick of seeing their stupid hiking pictures. Don't they ever do anything else?? How much good clean family fun can one quartet of humans and canines have, anyhow?? Well at least this time there aren't any pictures of that unbelievably cute baby in her pink hat. Thank goodnes for that.”

To which I can only say …
1) Yes, more hiking pictures. And even more here.
2) Lots of other stuff, really … we only hike once a week, sometimes barely that. This week, it was Meyer Ranch. Lovely spot. Gorgeous wildflowers. We here in Co have to make the most of our summers. Winters aren't as bad as some places, but they can get nasty and feel very ong.
3) Here she is … hehe.Friday night, my mom and sis were kind enough to watch Miss Tabby on their own while Matt and I got sushi and went to see Knocked Up. I highly recommend it.

Saturday I spent the day with Holly and we did all kinds of stuff, culminating in lovely pedicures. My toes are all kinds of pink sparkliness now and almost as soft as baby girl.

Sunday we did something quite unexpected … we looked at a few houses with our realtor. There was one in our neighborhood that's huge and at a great price, and we're eventually going to need to upgrade (size wise), so we spent a few hours browsing houses. We realized a few things … 1) we want to stay pretty close to where we are now and 2) we're not ready to put our house on the market. The market sucks anyhow.

Then we went hiking. 😛
