Don'tcha just love this photo of these two? So cute. This is when I love having a fast camera. It was a very lucky shot.
On another note, we just got a notice from the hospital about how much they billed our insurance company for delivery of our special package. $24k and change for my portion of it and $4k and change for Tabby's … so all in all, almost $30k for her delivery. Amazing, no? So worth it.

As for the insurance costs, I used to work for Blue Cross Blue Shield, and you wouldn't believe how much some procedures end up costing. Of course, if the hospital/doctors are in network the insurance company usually writes off a huge chunk of whatever they charged. It's still a huge amount of money. Imagine if you didn't have insurance!
