Who knew life could be this wonderful? It probably goes without saying that we are enjoying the heck out of our little one. Every day is a new and amazing adventure and they all seem to go by in a blink of an eye.
We left the hospital on Wednesday and have been parenting without experts for over 24 hours now. It's as much of a challenge as I thought it might be, but oh so rewarding. More photos here for you friends and family types.
We love all of the sweet comments from all of you. Thanks for them and the emails. We'll get back to you soon(ish).
I'm so happy for you guys! She's beautiful! Sounds like you are *really* enjoying her. It's all so exciting and amazing. If you're breastfeeding, I hope that's going well. Get rest when you can. Life with children is wonderful, indeed. Can you believe that she's approaching a week old?
I'm so glad you're all home now! “Parenting without experts” was pretty scary to me at first. I thought I was supposed to know everything all at once but I was freaked out about everything. I don't know how many times I'd go in to check that the babies were breathing. My point is, don't worry if you feel the same way.
Lots of luck to you and Matt. You'll soon be thinking you can't remember what life was like before her.
Yay welcome home! Your little girl is just so adorable!! Just so very happy for you.
She's absolutely beautiful! Enjoy her!
She is sooo precious!
I also meant to say … you guys are making me think back to my *wonderful* memories when I became a mommy for the first time.
