Lots of nothing going on in my world right now.
The Denver area is being told to brace for a hell of a winter storm. They're tossing around words like “blizzard watch” and “severe winds” but I am taking this with a grain of salt since the media around here is given to sensationalism concerning our snow fall.
Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars have been good this year and last night was no exception. They're pulling off the Lorelai/Chris thing so well I'm almost pulling for them to make it, but I know that L&L belong together in the end.
I'd been able to wear my normal tops up until now, but they're starting to show a bit of belly when I put them on. I have enough stuff to get by, but I will probably need to hit Old Navy soon and get just a few more things. Some of the maternity clothes I've borrowed from others that fit fine the first half or pregnancy look laughable on me by this point. Plus I really need to be looking for something to wear to holiday events. Our cleaning service comes tomorrow. Which means I have to get the house in order tonight. I will probably do approx 20% of this, and Matt will do the rest. He's entirely too good to me … wants me resting.
I'm trying to get a jump-start on Christmas shopping. I'm going to try hard to do most of it online again this year. It works out so nicely. Let me know if you stumble on any paticulary cool sites … I've got lotsa people to buy for.
I did finally try out Premium Postcard and I must say it was quite a success. I'll have to use them for our Christmas greetings this year … hopefully we can take a nice photo of us.
You clean the house before they go clean your house? Hee, hee.
Good luck with the maternity clothes. I thought I could be smart and just by bigger sizes insted of actual maternity wear but that was just big on the shoulders and too snug on the belly. The good thing is that you can buy a few things and everyone understand if you live in them for a few months. Are you taking pictures?
Snow? I hadn't heard that. Darn it. Guess I'll go check out the details on 9 News or something. I hope they are are blowing it out of proportion. You're right that they do tend to do that around here.
I'm off to check out that craft magazine link in your last post.
Hey there! I have been reading your blog for a while now, so I thought I would say hello! I live in COS, so we are 'bracing for a blizzard' here too… Guess we will see what happens.. if anything!
