Of course, it was another busy weekend. My day on Friday started extra early because we had our quarterly breakfast meeting at work … but that allowed me to leave earlier too and go home to hang out with Loki and have a nap. In the evening, my parents and Kelly picked me up and then we went to get Matt from the airport. After excellent Chinese cuisine at East Cafe, we went to the Denver Museum of Science and Nature to see Body Worlds. It was a neat exhibit made slightly less enjoyable by the large crowd it drew. They had the exhibit open round-the-clock since this was the last weekend and even when we went at 9:30, it was packed. Saturday morning was spent doing all those little things that the weekends require. Laundry, organization, errands. Blah. That afternoon, my mom picked me up and we went to a shower for some friends who are having twins in late September/early October. We got them a pack-and-play from their registry and the cute onesies (pictured) from Uncommon Goods. The shower was good fun … massages … eatables … then the guys joined us later and we had dinner. Dessert was the most amazing cake I've ever tasted. It came from Whole Foods and was a sheet cake with three layers and berries decorating the top. Everything about it was amazingly good and the cake and frosting and berries all sort of came together. I tried to find a picture of it, but to no avail. But if you see a berry cake at Whole Foods, pick it up. You'll thank me.

Cute onesies! I love to shop at Whole Foods. We don't have one in our town but its not too far to drive to one.
We saw Body Worlds in Los Angeles…It was awesome, but also totally crowded.
Those shirts are darling!
Whole Foods has awesome cake! Was it all berries or just strawberries?
Berries … all varieties and it was AMAZING.
