Well we certainly did our part this weekend to revive Hollywood's crummy box office receipts as of late. We saw Devil Wears Prada on Saturday evening and Superman Returns on the 4th. I greatly enjoyed DWP … it was fun and well-done with good characters and a good story. Superman Returns on the other hand … I dunno … I just didn't really dig it. I thought it was cheesy in an unintentional way and that it needed some major editing. As for the rest of the weekend, we spent Sat. morning hiking and biking (me and Matt respectively) and then we went to the Cherry Creek Art Festival with Holly and the baby. Hanging out was fun, but we greatly preferred Art Fair on the Square (get that, we preffered the Madison event to the Denver event … weird). Then on Sat, after the movie, I went home sick … and spent the rest of Sat Night ('til late late late) and Sunday in the throes of some sort of GI bug (ick). That's about it… hope everyone enjoyed their 3 or 2 day weekend plus 1 off.

Oh yea … I'm fine now. It was a bit of a bummer cuz I spent lots of my weekend off sleeping … but at least I didn't have to use a vacation day on it!

I'm glad you're feeling better. I want to watch DWP but I'm not so sure about Superman. To me, he looks, how can I put this, uh, not very manly. . . Not that's there's anything wrong with it, just not my choice for Superman. Am I making sense?

I dunno that he'd be my choice either, but he's not bad in the role, I suppose. I disliked K. Spacey much more!!
