So I finally got around to watching both existing episodes of Ctrl-Alt-Chicken and I must say I *greatly* enjoyed them. The premise of the show is a rather weak ploy concerning a “viewer email” that requests them to solve a culinary quandry. Weak as it is, it's amusing. So they call down to the “lab” where A Dr. Kurzhassepfeffer rambles on at length about the culinary quandry and makes quite an ass of himself while his assistant debunks the myths surrounding the dish to be pepared. Research done, a recipe goes back up to Alex and Healther to make. Alex and Healther (as they've said in each epsidoe) are not professional chefs. They are, in fact, professional ameteurs. If you're into cooking in the slightest, you won't get much from this show besides laughs because they know virtually nothing about cooking. Heather tries to separate an egg using a sieve in one episode. In the other, it takes them 28 minutes (supposedly) to beat eggs to stiff. Hilarious!

I wonder if their lack of cooking ability is real or just for the camera. If they don’t get better over time we’ll know. No one can be that bad forever.
