Colorado Dog

Yesterday, when I went to pick Loki up at Doggy Daycare, they told me he had had an upset tummy early in the day. Figuring that it was from the heat, they wanted him to drink a lot of water … Loki is a hard dog to get to slow down for even a second, let alone long enough to take a big drink of water, but they know his secret. Loki loves hoses. So they got him to drink from the hose. They were remarking to me how funny it is … and I explained to them that when we go mountain biking or hiking, Loki, like the good Colorado dog he is, drinks from the Camelbak just like we do. Originally, he was not so enamoured of this idea and we had to carry a bowl and water for him. Now he drinks from it like a champ and no one has to stop for a long drink. I'm thinking Camelbak might be wise to market a dog-sized pack. I bet we could train Loki to use it.
