So we're going on vacation soon and May is going to stay with a co-worker of Matt's. So yesterday we took her out to their house to meet them and their dog and check out her home-away-from-home. She met the dog … they sniffed each other and we started talking to May's host parents about our upcoming trip. All of a sudden, we look over and there's May having a squat in the corner of their dining room. That's right! Our classy classy dog was doing her business right on their dining room carpet. Way to make an impression, May!
I still don't know why she did it. Nervousness? Wanting to mark her territory? She'd had ample opportunity just minutes before … but oh no. Yeesh. Luckily it was err … umm.. solid. And no stains.
Ick.
May is a very smart dog and knew something was up!
